Yay for Lalli!

[mood| Bouncy! =)]
[music|Yuva OST: ‘Faana’]

My good friend Lalitha just had a baby boy the day before. =)

I am so incredibly happy for her–and her husband Karthik–but I still can’t get over the fact that LALLI is a parent.

The thing I remember when I think about her is: she, Amul and I giggling insanely during ‘Rocktaves’ on our infamous Pilani trip…after staying up half the night and nearly falling out of the rickshaw we were in when the rickshaw driver gave us a look that screamed ‘OMG, save me from the crazy girls!’

=)

Good times.

All those stupid jokes we make which are only ever funny to us–scaring Karthik with out madness whenever Amul and I used to visit her office, bunking Chemistry classes and going to her house–actually, going to her house whenever we had a free moment, picking up a couple of lemons on the way so that we could make homemade Butler soda…making and eating Maggi noodles whenever we were too hungry…the three of us have done some amazing things together.

Haha.

I’m sure going to have some…interesting stories to tell this kid some day. *evil grin*

You forgot that we must never eat Lalli made soup (she made some for prashanth from scratch one day and it got burnt)!!

Also waiting with her granny those 1000s of times!!

You’re right! I’d forgotten she has the distinction of being the only human being on the planet who can burn soup! =)

Also waiting with her granny those 1000s of times!!

Lol. Yeah, and we always managed to arrive just when her granny would be watching some serial on tv…poor woman, we must have really bugged her!

Tut tut! The kid has just been born and you’re already thinking of spoiling him!!

I guess that’s the privilege of being an ‘aunt’ of the kid of your friend…besides, it’s not the spoiling him so much as it is the thought of embarrassing her. =)

Alright alright! I know it is completely unrelated but I was reading the movies in 15 minutes and the 300 in 15 mins was hilarious! Especially the part when Xerxes goes “And I shall wipe the entire face of Sparta from earth and NOBODY will remember you!”
And Leonidas goes “Oh yeah? Then how do you explain this movie?”

    Xerxes : “GAAAAAH!”

    That split me up! Hohohoh!

Thanks, m’dear. I do aim to please. :P

No worries, I encourage randomness on my blog.

Hee. So you found the M15m LJ? Told you it’d be hilarious. *grins smugly*

Sadly,I can’t share your hilarity over 300 in 15 min because after seeing the posters, I didn’t have the guts to watch the movie. :P

But my personal M15m faves are ‘POA in 15 min’–you must read it–and ‘Phantom of the Opera in 15 min’.

Amul, the link is this: http://community.livejournal.com/m15m/tag/parodies

Also, ‘Chrichton’, a suggestion for my birthday present this year: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0575076879/qid%3D1122743553/026-7301921-1029257

I can’t believe you spelled Crichton wrong!!! And you loved that show too! You know what, I’ll try to do something more than just that for your birthday. Luckily I have enough time till your Bday and a PO close by.

You want THAT for your bday???? I thought you would ask DVDs or something! Amulya! What’s happened to her? Take care of her better!

And Oi! How about putting a post up about me sometime? I wouldn’t mind seeing what other people think of me!!

(300 wasn’t that scary or gory… just like Lord of the Rings with more blood gushing out. If you want to know, Pathfinder is much more scary than 300. I’ve seen both and 300 is tame compared to Pathfinder!)

Call it a result of my cold, please. Seems to have affected my brain, as well! :P

And you loved that show too!

    I still do, actually.

Cool! So you mean I can be as greedy as I want, then? You’re going to regret that… *evil grin*
