Heylo.

I am: Insane. Female. Easily bored. Constantly on the hunt for good fiction and fanfic. A writer of original fiction and fanfic. An inveterate watcher of TV – sitcoms, anime, sci-fi, Kdrama, fantasy, animation, movies – everything is fair game for me.

Professionally, I am: a marketing and communications consultant.

I write short stories based on Indian mythology; The Vyathaka Puranas, featuring divorcee gods, cross-dressing assassins, and weresnakes.

I also review books for Random House India, and blog about my culinary experiments.

My articles have appeared in the Deccan Chronicle; a leading English daily, and I’ve presented short stories on All India Radio.

My work (as Isha_libran) has been featured on TV Tropes ‘Fanfic Worth Dying For‘ page, and I’ve been interviewed by The Times of India for my views on fanfic.

I’m currently working on a novel.

I also run a home based candle business, Yellow Spider Candles.

What I want to do when I grow up: Continue to make snarky comments, read, write, and generally try to avoid doing too much work.
