I’ve been writing nearly all my life, first cutting my teeth on fanfiction. I’m working on getting my own books out there.

My short stories have been published in Reading Hour, and an anthology from Indireads, The Long and Short of It.

I also review books for Random House India.

Occasionally, I blog about my culinary experiments.

Sometimes, I ramble about things that interest and/or annoy me.

I survived three years in the Temple of Learning, and two years Beyond the IIMs. This has made me a never-say-die-ist.

I love: books, anime, coffee, chocolate, manga, Beatles music, and dogs.

I once actually saw a chicken cross the road.

My articles have appeared in the Deccan Chronicle; a leading English daily, and I’ve presented my short stories on All India Radio.

As a freelancer, I’ve written scripts for animated films and advertisements, created website content, and designed logos and brochures.

My work (as Isha_libran) has been featured on TV Tropes ‘Fanfic Worth Dying For‘ page, and I’ve been interviewed by The Times of India for my views on fanfic.

What I want to do when I grow up: Continue to make snarky comments, read, write, and generally try to avoid doing too much work.

That is all.

If you wanna talk – or hire me –  feel free to drop me a line.

  1. I’m writing you on behalf of one of Hyderabad’s top city guide and recommendation website: http://CityHyd.info and I would like to invite you to be a contributor.

At this moment, I’m trying to amass the magician word-wizards of Hyderabad city under one umbrella i.e. CityHyd. With this opportunity we are trying to build a community of Hyderabadi bloggers expressing themselves on regular basis on a single platform. The idea is simple- You get to express yourself on CityHyd and we give you enough credits to drive up your readership.

If you would be interested, kindly drop me a note please.
